  1. Can somebody explain to me what is meant by results and detailed results? I am presented with my total points, bonus points, diploma status and grades by subject breakdown. When I press detailed results for a subject I can see the three different boundaries. My question is, are they going to get any more detailed than this? For example, will there be percentages and grades for each Paper, IA, etc? I do not know how I can decide to 'remark' otherwise. Or are you only able to remark the whole subject with all its assessments? I was told detailed results will come on the 7th, but nothing changed. So I'm wondering if they will still appear today or if they were made available earlier (yesterday).
  2. Could somebody tell me which MDG was implied in the question? And also, which ones would not work for the question that followed? Thanks.
  3. For Option E... Is sunlight considered a natural source of Vitamin D in the human diet? Or did it have to be a food source? I have asked some people and got different responses. I'm aware that it was only for (1) point but I just want to know. The two keywords I have highlighted in bold are what made it confusing to me.
  4. Which allowance option was the highest in value?
  5. I'd like to know this also - whether or not they count 'carry-on mistakes' in certain questions. But just out of interest, what did you include in your GDP calculation that you think made it wrong? i forgot what the question stated exactly but i think i added the taxes or something like that, did you answer this question? Yes, I did. I have discussed this with somebody earlier in the thread. I was worried I got it wrong because I only included the main components [ C + I + G + (X-M) ] that were clearly stated and not Taxes/Wages/etc. but apparently that is all that was needed.

  7. For environmentalists on Paper 1 MCQ I said (A). I was thinking between A and D. Something about damaging corn? Or those organisms harming other plants...
  8. Yeah that was the correct way to do it. The diameter was 4.2cm; so you got 7.63636363µm right? Yes that seems more accurate. I might have gotten 4.3cm, I don't remember, but hopefully they give some uncertainty leeway.
  9. What about part (b) to magnification where you have to state the answer in µm? I did something like (3.5cm ÷ 1.1cm) × 2µm = 6.36µm Or maybe not 3.5, I don't remember what it was exactly, but the idea is that I divided the diameter I measured by the length of that bold line in the bottom that I also measured, and then multiplied by 2 because below the line it said 2µm.
  10. Seriously though. I am going to protest. I cannot help but make a big deal out of this Questions such as compare prokaryotes and eukaryotes is something that I would expect. The easiest one that we had in Section B (in my opinion) was to draw the structure of DNA... and talk about stem cells. I wonder what happens if TZ1 did better as a whole. Does everyone get lower boundaries?
  11. What kind if questions did you get, just out of interest? For section b there was 5: a) draw structure of membrane b) compare eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells c)transport of proteins by vesicles in ecoli pretty sure majority picked number 5 in section b I wish I had gotten that for Section B!

  13. On paper 2, it asked to identify a certain structure and its purpose (referring to a microscopic image scan). I was not sure and said it was a cell wall. What was it actually? There are so many questions I want to ask but don't want to spam the thread. We need a chat group you guys!
