Do we need to put pictures of apparatus for physics ee?

Thank you thank you thank you!!!! Looovvvveeee yooouuuu, whoever you are!!!
  2. Do I have to take a picture of every apparatus I use for my physics ee?

heating a cup of water with solar energy

Honestly, is it hard to build a solar panel?

heating a cup of water with solar energy

Basically, just to find out how useful can we use the solar energy to heat the water. My goal is to build one and successfully heat the water. I did some research and I am thinking of which type of solar panel is the most effective. I'm sorry about posting same thing in different forum. I did not mean to annoy people. I do not need someone to plan my EE as well. What I need is some idea about the types of solar panel to build and has to be done by the end of this June.

heating a cup of water with solar energy

Thank you so much for your suggestion! I am thinking about it, too, whether I make a few of them and compare or just one. I feel like it needs a lot of work for comparing different types since I have to make them myself. I'll try anyway, and thanks again!

    Physics Questions!

Thank you for your time to type this much for me. I understand most of the questions and I think that's enough, lol. Thanks again
  7. I'm thinking of doing the Extended Essay about the solar energy. My goal is to heat a cup of water with it. I have to build a solar panel which I don't really know which type is the best. It's going to be a small cup of water. Which one is better? PV solar panel or Thermal Panels? Thermal panels might be better, i guess, but I don't really get the concept of it. Please help me

    Physics Questions!

I know that this might not be about IB Physics but since IB physics is much harder than SAT 2 Physics, explaining these questions to me might have any difficulty, right? Please please! I really don't understand these! 1. A wooden crate is pushed across a concrete floor at 5m/s and released. It slides to a stop after moving a short distance. The same crate is filled until it weight twice as much as it did previously and again slid across the floor at 5m/s and released. The stopping distance for the crate will be: A. 1/4 as far B. 1/2 as far C. the same distance D. twice as far E. four times as far (The answer is C) 2. During a company picnic, 6 accounting department workers participate in a tug of war with 6 sales force personnel. Each team pulls on the rope with 1200N of force. What is the tension in the rope? A. 2400N B. 1200N C. 600N D. 200N E. 100N (the answer is B) 3. During a laboratory experiment, a 19.6N pile driver is dropped 2m on to the head of a nail, which is driven 2.45 cm into a wood board. What is the magnitude of the acceleration of a pile driver while it drives the nail into the board? The answer is -800 m/s^2 4. The International Space Station is currently under construction. Eventually, simulated earth gravity may become a reality on the space station. What would the gravitational field through the central axis be like under these conditions? The answer is Zero 5. A 750N person stands on a scale while holding a briefcase inside a freely falling elevator. Which of the following is true? A. If the briefcase were released it would rise to the ceiling. B. The person's acceleration is zero. C. The person's attraction toward the earth is zero. D. The person's apparent weight is zero. E. If the briefcase were released it would fall to the floor (The answer is D) Whoever answer these questions for me, I would be very very appreciated! Thank you so much!

    Physics on Solar Energy

What if I convert it into electric energy first then to heat energy? Is it going to be give me the same result?

Economics SL, History SL or Geography SL?

If you're going to do medicine, I think it does not matter much which one you choose. I'm doing Geography now and I feel like wasting my time. For Geography, it focuses on population, development and environment. If you are interested in what's going on in the present and the prediction of the future (it has to be about realistic concrete stuff, of course!), then Geography might be the right one for you. However, I personally don't like it since it's all about making judgment and learning things that somehow seem like a common sense to me. For those other two, if you don't like memorizing a lot of stuff, economy might be the best since I think it's more in understanding than memorizing compare with History and Geography. Whatever you choose, make sure that it is the best for you! Good luck

    Solar energy conversion

Can solar cell convert energy directly to heat? I mean, I want to use solar cell to boil water. I don't really know if it is possible to heat it directly or it has to convert into electricity first before convert to heat energy. Please! I need help!

Physics EE - water bottle rocket

well, I don't know if this helps but I'm going to type it anyway. I'm doing physics EE, too. I'm doing stuff about the solar energy and how to use it to boil a water. I still cannot figure out how to do it but I think it is quite interesting (at least for me). So , this might be an idea for you if you haven't chosen the topic yet or want to try something else. Hope this helps

    Physics on Solar Energy

Hi! I am doing the Extended Essays at the moment. I have to finish this at the end of September (I guess...) I just chose the topic of by EE. It's about the solar energy and how to use it to boil the water. I will focus on what material is the best for making the solar panel for boiling water. Now, the problem is I don't know what to do! I don't know how to build the solar panel and I don't know that it is possible or not to build one and use it to boil the water. I need at least some guide to complete this thing. In order to boil the water using solar energy, does that mean I have to convert the energy into electric energy and then convert it into heat energy? If yes, how am I going to do it? Please please, give me some ideas on how to make this happen! Thank you
