  1. totally agree with you all.
  2. You guys are the best!! Thanks SO much!
  3. I was TZ2 so I got externalities and market failure and monetary policy. I was so relieved! And finished roughly in time!
  4. Same here, had almsot too much to write lol Same! I love that paper. I talked about everything from their mental state to their characterisation and the setting. I loved it
  5. I did! I said the speaker used overwhelming/gross imagery to imply that his teenage-hood wasn't as idyllic as it maybe first appears; though he used to reminisce about it when coming into the struggle of early adulthood, now he is mature/in a stable place he realises what is truly valuable (hard work/artistry/independence, as illustrated by the old artist). Also talked a bunch about enjambment + rhyme. I did! I thought it was a good poem. I basically talked about what ohmygoats talked about..reminiscing etc and also how (if I remember correctly) we can't choose our memories as whether good or bad they return to "haunt" us. I also distinguished between what we want to remember, and what we're forced to remember as he/she was talking about it being against his/her will. Obviously, I said this in better words and it was more comprehensive than what I just wrote..but that's the basic outline lol What did you do?
  6. I was going through the forum, and correct me if I'm wrong but I realized that there isn't much on the NEW paper 3 (maths paper). Fair enough, we are the second year doing this, but this is more reason for us to ace it. If anyone has any resources or methods they use to revise, please link on here or attach here....would be great! Here is a link breaking down each section that has maths that I've found and use: http://welkerswikinomics.com/blog/2013/04/30/how-to-succeed-on-ib-economics-higher-level-paper-3/ With that being said.. 1 month left adfssghjkl;sgs\efghtjd
  7. Oh okay, that sounds like pretty much what I'm doing. Our department gave us booklets on a collection of past questions as they were in the real paper for both standard and higher so I make A3 essay plans on those labelling, the into, body's, historiography branching off of those, and the conclusion...sounds decent right lol? And no my paper 3 is on german unification, italian unification alliances and imperial russia!
  8. So, my final exams are in May and I have been revising but now it's exactly a month and I was wondering if anyone has any tips or revision methods they do with a month left? This is what I've done so far (a.k.a what about to start doing) but I'm worrying that it's nowhere near enough. History HL- essay plans, reading notes. English HL- reading over the texts, A3 sheets on themes in 2 books, quotes relating to those themes and quotes relating to characters and devices. French B SL- vocab for each topic section in paper 2, and paper 1 past papers. ESS- no idea Econ HL- reading over notes, learning graphs, past questions essay plans etc Maths Studies- past papers over and over. Please help in anyway you can!

  13. Thank you, will check out the link. Yes, I'm collecting loads of random data I hope they come together in the end!
  14. Would love some detailed guidance. I've decided (teacher decided, rather) to do my IA on correlation between cycling times and swimming times of athletes. I haven't got an actual research question as my teacher believes this can be done at the end. What he wants me to complete is my data collating. I know I will need simple maths processing such as graphs, bar charts, histograms, scatter graphs, box plots etc..but what else can I include that will be specific to my topic? From the littlest calculation to the biggest- inform me pls. Most importantly, I have no idea how to do my chi-squared. Like I have a 100 male athletes so how will I put the actual and expected values into the chi-squared table? And calculate the f0, f1 etc? I am so lost!! Thank you!!
