  1. We just started reading it, and I don't think it's too bad. I mean, it touches on a lot of -- shall we say delicate subjects? -- but it's been interesting so far, and I'm enjoying it. It's difficult keeping up with the storyline sometimes due to all the Joses, but. ;
  2. Ditto! Well...minus the guy part...x.x;
  3. o_o Wooow. Yes, let's get rid of a program that helps students to think in a different way and view the world with an open mind! Brilliant idea. -__- The things people will think of these days. And LUL at the Cult section. xDD YES, FEAR US, IB-HATERS. OR WE WILL THROW OUR COMMUNIST BUTTONS AND INCEST PAPERS AT YOU.
  4. Big Bang Theory, hands-down. As a nerd, I feel it defines me. +_+ LOL, and I forgot a question, too. Your evil classmates have replaced your regular clothes with a bunny suit and a chicken suit. You have to wear one of them to school. WHICH DO YOU PICK. O:
  5. Yeah, half of our class ended up doing a comparative IOP (usually comparing some aspect of The Great Gatsby to The Scarlet Letter.) I really wanted to talk more about the fact that the different tones of their writing was influenced by their lifestyles (****inson lived in seclusion, Frost traveled around to different colleges all over the country giving lectures and was very social), but my teacher said that would be too much like a biography and blahblah. So my IOP was like...really boring.
  6. LOL, sounds like the best CAS form ever. Yeah, I guess you're right. I'll just skip it this time. Or maybe next time, I'll just color slower. >.>
  7. My IOP compared/contrasted the poetry of Robert Frost ("A Time to Talk", "The Road Not Taken") to that of Emily ****inson's ("The Bustle in a House", "The Soul Selects Her Own Society".) It was alright, but I think I could have done a better job on it. There was a lot more that could have been said. =/
  8. Banned for making me dizzy with that panic-striken emote. @[email protected]
  9. Mm, usually. Sweet-talking really is key in this situation, too If you could spend a day with one celebrity, who would it be and what would you do?
  10. Mm, okay. I guess I'm just getting nervous about CAS hours, trying to get them all out of the way. But yeah, I would just feel silly filling out this CAS form, I think.
  11. So, I'm finally getting around to slowly chisling off my CAS hours. I've already got 40 out of the way, but I just recently colored in an anime poster that my friend drew for our anime club's annual Valentine's Day party. It took me all of an hour to do, it was rather simple. But as I started to fill out a CAS form for it, I found myself wondering if I should count it as a CAS hour at all. The project just doesn't seem fitting for the questions: "Explain what you hoped to accomplish through this project" - ...to...color inside the lines? "What difficulties did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?" - One of my red markers dried out. So I got another one. "What did you learn about yourself through this project?" - I M A GUD KOLERER. 8Db So, what should I do? Should I not even bother writing out a CAS sheet for something so simple? Or should I BS my way through this one? Advice would be much appreciated.
  12. LMAO. Somebody should make a parody of this, seriously. EDIT: Nevermind, found one. 8D (Well, not a parody of this video, but...still. ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbJJYVWF9Og
  13. http://www.fanplusfriend.com/servlet/the-1...EGL-cln-/Detail Ahh, an outfit I wish I could wear gracefully. u.u
  14. Oh, I know. LOL I think my mom just would like me to do it for the money. But I think having a PhD in Asian Studies will pay for itself, in due time
  15. Wow...that's a really cool profession. And difficult! My mom wants me to become a neurosurgeon. But, knowing me, I'd like...deflate someone's brain. "WHOOPS, SORRY ABOUT THAT...*blood squirting from poor patient's head*"
