  1. Hellooo I was womdering, to how many decimal places or significant figures should: raw data, mean, and standard deviation be written in the IA? Really Urgent help needed!!! Thanksssss
  2. All right. Thank you. You've helped me a lot!
  3. Thank you! I will try, although the problem is that some of my apparatus is pretty long (like over a line long with all the errors and brand etc). So you don't think its nice to list them?
  4. Hey guys, I was wondering if in the IA it is acceptable to list the appartus like this: item 1, item 2, item 3... rather than in bullet point form. I just really need the space!!!!!! Thanks this is kind of urgent, please let me know how your teachers usually instruct you to write it
  5. Hi! I am doing my IA lab, and just wanted to ask opinions regarding my lab. Is it acceptable to refer to solutions as: 10% cornstarch solution (for example: 10 grams cornstarch and 100 ml water) or should I convert this to moles (so complicated tho - not chem student)? Second, my quantitative data will mostly be colour absorbance (result from benedicts test). How does one interpret these quantitatively in terms of glucose concentration? Thanks for any help!!
  6. She was going to become a police officer.
  7. Do you know what you're planning to study afterwards? Because if you are 100 percent sure that it has nothing to do with Maths (especially since you don't like it) then you can drop to Maths Studies, and tbh universities look more at the final IB score than your subjects. So, if you think you may do very poorly in Maths SL maybe you should move down. But if you think it was just because you had no experience, and that you can cope with Maths SL, then you should stay and keep your options open for like an Economics or something Good luck!
  8. Hey guys. Can I ask you how good is a 27/28 on the IOP? How does the scoring work for the final English grade?
  9. In my class I think nobody is doing the IOP on 2 works, our teacher advised us its better to do it on one (and I'm sure it makes no difference tbh). But it really depends on what you are interested in. Just because your class is doing it doesn't mean it's easier. good luck, I'm sooo nervous for mine! ohh ok. I guess so. does my whole topic make sense do you think? Yes, I think it's a really good topic! And there is lots to talk about because you're doing it from different characters. Just make sure to reference the text and use quotes as much as possible. In my opinion, adding another book would not make much sense :/ Good luck!

  11. Okay thanks. And do you think it'd be a good topic to do it on the change in his style of poetry and then describe in what ways it changed during the years as he moved away from one style and comparing different poems by him written in different times? And then at the same time talk about Imagist poetry because this was the style he moved away from. Sorry I'm really worried. Thanks
  12. Can the topic be biographical? So for example, I chose to do my IOP on the poet William Carlos Williams and was planning to talk about him in the Imagism movement and how this characterised his poetry and so on. Is this all right, or should it be something closely related to the poetry? Thanks
  13. Thanks for your help. Do you know of any people who had to change in IB2 and had to change subject? I think that would be a problem... :/ And do you think starting Art SL would be too difficult in IB2? or even like midway through IB1?
  14. Hello, I have started by IB this year and there may be a slight chance of me having to change school. Do you guys think changing school during the IB (going to another IB school) would be a problem? And also, if one of my subjects is not offered, is it very difficult to completely change subject after a few months? Has anyone had this experience? Any suggestions? Thanks.
  15. I've just started my IB as well, so don't count on my words too much. But I think it would be wise for you to do that because I've heard from many many people how difficult Chemistry HL is. At the start of the IB it won't be too hard, and will probably be a lot like the SL. So if you already know you don't need it at HL, I would move down. But that's just my opinion! You may manage just fine, I cannot know. Good luckk!!
