    Biology HL TZ2 paper 3

Option G&H for me as well. For the Bohr shift question, I drew a diagram of it and explained that it occurs when pH decreases due to increased CO2 uptake and that sort of stuff. Although it might be irrelevant, I also wrote about why the oxygen dissociation curve for haemoglobin is sigmoid-shaped.
  2. I'm also doing Chinese L&L SL. I thought both papers were relatively easy! For TZ2 Paper 1, I chose the text about 'The Chinese Dream'. For Paper 2, only one question was applicable to the texts I studied (Q.4, 藝術形象) -- but it was a good enough question.

it was that if they were in same class they belong to same phylum or something like that I wrote shivering too!!! HAhaha couldn't think of any and yeah I put that phylum thing too was it answer A? Think it was C..cant guarantee that thoughyeah im doing option G, worst option ever! Really? I'm also doing option G, but I think it is one of the easiest topics! On the other hand, I absolutely hate my other option, option H :|I'm doing the exact same options as you! I hate both:// I hate paper 3 in general! Do you think you're ready? I don't think so! I need to get more than 35 in paper 3 to salvage my horrible paper 2 (rough estimate), and I can easily lose more than 5 marks from the two sets of data response questions Unfortunately I also have to study for my Chinese Language&Literature paper 2 exams! I'm afraid I won't have enough time. What about you?

I can't afford to lose too many marks, but it has always been impossible for me to ace the data response questions

but it said identitical, it cant have been meiosis 2... there are 4 different end results, im pretty sure its mitosis only, although crossing over does not occur all the time there is random orientation and stuff going on, there is that joke in the biology book about the twins looking alike... dry humour Wiii, awesome, but I asked my teacher and she was like "that's wrong". But in meiosis 2 the sister chromatids separate and those are supposed to be identical if it's not for crossing over and such stuff? Well if your teacher told you so :/ genetics was never my strong side... but i mean the genetic chapters talk so much about there being an INFINITEE AMOUNT OF VARIATION 2^23 and all that, 8mil combinations in just the random orientation part, and then adding crossing over, and yeh, i dont know but i feel mitosis is right I think that both should be accepted, because it kinda depends on how you interpret the question. If you consider everything that might happen you will chose only mitosis, but if you just look at the occurs most frequently (which the best student in my class pointed out should be the right way, and the teacher agreed with her) you will pick both mitosis and meiosis 2. I also chose the 'mitosis only' option, but I agree it is up for interpretation of what you think the question means when it says 'identical base pairs', but unfortunately Paper 1 answers are always definite :x i said it could have a layer of fat underneath the skin and thick fur man :/ i was thinking of that too, but then pressure was on me, i was first thinking oh it can have hairs stick up.. but then i thought no hairs dont work in water maybe, and then i thought what if it gets really fat, but there is nothing i can remember in biology about fat insulating heat, your answers sound better though than shivering... I wrote vasoconstriction and the seal could have thick skin :|
  7. 14th of May I don't think anyone is finishing earlier than me. The past week has been hell for me

    Psychology Paper 1 TZ2

My weakest SAQ was probably the stereotype one. I wrote about how stereotypes affected the behaviour of accurate recall (memory), which is basically the confirmation bias, but I didn't use this term in my answer :|

How did everyone find the data response questions on TZ2 paper? (The ones about pinnipeds) I thought it was very difficult and I thought I screwed up BIG TIME on that section. I was predicted a 7 and I'm so afraid of disappointing my teacher !

    Economics HL - Papers [1] [2] [3] - Discussion!

I had written since the quality of goods had increased, the PPC would move outwards. But to think of it, maybe it would have been more appropriate to say that a point moves, as the PPC moves only if there is an improvement in the factors of production, as opposed to the good produced. So hm, I was sure until now. Haha I answered that a point inside the PPC would move outwards, but I am not sure as well! I think it could be argued that improved bed nets lead to higher quantities of labor (lower mortality), and as labor is a FOP, PPC moves outward. I hope that both are accepted answers. Which question # was that? Sorry, I don't remember :|! It was from a TZ2 paper though

    Economics HL - Papers [1] [2] [3] - Discussion!

There's one question in paper 2 about using a PPC to illustrate how improved bed nets lead to economic growth. Should it be a potential growth (PPC shifts outwards) or actual growth (point inside PPC shifts towards PPC)?

    English A Literature SL P1

I did the TZ2 prose (the one about Adrian Finn). I don't I think I did well, I only picked up on the obvious stuff. Can someone tell me what their interpretation was?

    Psychology Paper 1

Yeah it seems valid since it is part of memory. You've just got to state that the cognitive process as memory. Thank god. I also chose to do schema theory because I know the theory better than MSM. I only prepared one study for MSM and it wasn't enough for an essay. Overall, I also found paper 1 quite easy!

    English A Lit HL/SL Paper 2

I loved the TZ2 question as well -- our class practiced similar questions before. I did the minor character question using 'A Streetcar Named Desire' by Williams and 'A View from the Bridge' by Miller.
