    Chemistry P1 and P2 TZ2

Paper 1 was alright in my opinion! It was pretty good but a bit tricky. But that paper 2..... ohmygod. That was the most HORRIBLE paper I have ever done. That paper 2 just killed my confidence. Everyone came out of the exam hall and literally everyone said, "what the hell was that!?!?!?".

paper one was fine there was some tricky questions .. paper2 was much easier than paper one but still there was some hard parts from questions especially the last question .. in paper one do you remember the wheel chair question? Yeah omg that wheelchair questions killed me:( It was soo horrible! What did you get for the horizontal distance??

I wrote about how there could have been emigration or lack of food/water supply

When metabolism is increased, there's higher concentration of CO2 and lactic acid in the blood, and consequently the pH of the blood decreases. Hemoglobin acts as buffer and absorbs H+ ions, which decreases hemoglobin's affinity for oxygen and the Bohr shift promotes the release of oxygen to the respiring tissue. Thus, the curve shifts to the right. I also drew the graph but I don't think it will be enough to get 6 points.I wrote about the whole CO2 concentration rise but I forgot to mention pH :/ but I drew the graph and talked about how the curve shifts to the right aswell! Hope that gets me some marks:/

I thought it wasn't bad but I do NOT like data response and I'm usually bad at it:/ I did option G and H and the 6 mark question on option G was a rainforest conservation one and I was sooooo happy about that! BUT i wasn't too happy about the Bohr shift:/ I would have preferred something about the liver-_- Anyone taking option H, what did you write for the Bohr shift?

OMG really the abnormality and normality one was a November?! God i wish i practiced it but I still did it anyways haha. I hardly did paper 3 revision so I messed that up:/ i kinda made stuff up:/ oh well it's over! Congrats on finishing it too!! I'm sure you did great! Goodluck for results!

it was that if they were in same class they belong to same phylum or something like that I wrote shivering too!!! HAhaha couldn't think of any and yeah I put that phylum thing too was it answer A? Think it was C..cant guarantee that thoughyeah im doing option G, worst option ever! Really? I'm also doing option G, but I think it is one of the easiest topics! On the other hand, I absolutely hate my other option, option H :|I'm doing the exact same options as you! I hate both:// I hate paper 3 in general!Do you think you're ready? I don't think so! I need to get more than 35 in paper 3 to salvage my horrible paper 2 (rough estimate), and I can easily lose more than 5 marks from the two sets of data response questions Unfortunately I also have to study for my Chinese Language&Literature paper 2 exams! I'm afraid I won't have enough time. What about you? OMG i estimated the same! I really need a good mark but yeah my data response is soooo weak i just can't think in a data response way if you know what I mean?? Oh god!! Goodluck!! I hope the paper is really easy so you do well!! All the best!!

Do you mean the one where it had a list of stuff like "same genus=same family, same class doesn't = same phylum" sort of thing? I put same class must be same phylum For the adaptions one, I said vasorestriction, instead of vasoconstriction, do you think that will count? Also said shivering. Yes i do mean that one!! Oh nooo! I wrote the one where it said 'not' i think I said if its not in the same order its not in the same class or something:/ oh well.... And I also wrote that the seals could have a layer if fat for insulation and vasoconstriction

I think i did crossin the heterozygous with the white hahahaha, but I thought that the white is recessive anyway??? For metaphase, I think I answered 3, but can't rly rmb >< I think the answer was 50% because it was refering to test-cross Ohhhh yeahh! I answered 50% too :DDwhat did u guys answer for the one saying about single layer thick about the blood vessel one??? Im not sure but I answer capillary : l Yeah I wrote capillary too!! Because it said the plasma can leak out and from what I know, plasma can leak out from ca I think i did crossin the heterozygous with the white hahahaha, but I thought that the white is recessive anyway??? i said it was the RER itself, now you're making me doubt my answer It's most definitely rER because the source of the picture was /RoughER.gif It was golgi. The organelle was near a mitochondria, not near the nucleus. That's why it was so deceptive. Ribosomes were embedded on its surface. I found electron microscope images like this with rER located just next to mitochondria so it doesn't matter really if it's near nucleus or not. lol, link doesn't work. anyhow, here's a golgi body with dots on it: https://www.biochem.wisc.edu/faculty/bednarek/lab/images/mvb_golgi250.jpgplus, i don't think the IB would be dumb enough to put the answer in the source of the question. At first I thought it was the Golgi body too because there were many of those flattened sacs stacked on eachother but then there was something about it that looked weird. If you look really closely, there were clearly ribosomes so I then realized it was RER I dont know why IB would leave the source on, but I think 70% of my year doing biology wrote RER yeahh.. I think I am wrong now haha. sorry, CaptainCook. Hopefully there's error carry forward for the question after that?I'm sorry i didnt mean to be rude! I was just voicing my opinion :/ You could be right who knows! The IB is so unpredictable! And yeah that's true why would they put then answer in the link if it wasn't that. So there's a chance for everything!
