4. depressing literature: SYLVIA PLATH- need i say more? the sorrow of war- the title is a pretty good indication of the many joys in this book!

6. yeah readings really good i especially like reading books that ive already read in english because you already know what's happening and its easier to follow when you're starting out. but a website we always use in class is.... 7. hey its me agian! heres some more grammar stuff... * venir de + infinitive to say you have just done something * comparatives and superlatives- more than... the most.... * adverbs * prepositions- at, to, in, on... * mots de liasons (conjunctions)- mais, car, quand, alors, donc, sinon... * y and en * direct (me, him, us, them...) and indirect (to me, to us, to you, to them...) object pronouns * possessive pronouns- mine, yours, hers, theirs... * reflexive verbs hope that helps
8. yeh it sounds all right i think you should separate them into like UK, western europe, eastern europe, US, asia, australia/NZ, pacific islands, south america etc.... sort of by the same general location but taking in cultural aspects as well- because even though the UK is part of europe its really quite culturally different to france and spain and germany and the rest of it.
9. most people at my school don't keep any sort of diary or anything. i do though, just a table with date, activity, C A or S and numbrt of hours each time i have a netball game or a school production rehearsal etc.... it's just as much for my benefit so i can see what im doing and just keep track of everything, i don't know what the IBO says about it all but i don't think you need a hardout diary with lots of little details in it. also it would probably just be better if you didn't make any dates up or anything, because you could get caught up and confused and make mistakes that would be suspicious to the IBO, not that they're going to go reading through all your entries but it's just better to be safe than sorry.
10. creativity has definitely been the hardest for me. action was easy as i do netball, dance (i don't choreograph it so its not creativity) and badminton. service was the easiest for me, ive got over 100 hours as there's lots of service oppurtunities at my school. i've worked backstage on 2, coming up to 3, school productions (about 25-30hrs each), umpired a junior netball team (15hrs), was a yr13 leader on a yr10 camp (30hrs), am on the events & hosting committee (15-20hrs) and i'm a model/dancer for our Kristin School Fashion Show which is 20hrs each for C, A & S. and i also get about 10-15 creativity hrs for planning the school ball as a member of the events & hosting committee! its all good!
11. yeah my school does french, german, japanese, spanish & mandarin all at both HL & SL except spanish which is only at SL because you can only take it if you're a beginner, they don't offer it before Yr12.
12. well there's all the tenses we've learned: present present subjunctive passe compose imperfect passive conditional 2 future tense- i will do & i am going to do relative pronouns: ce que ce qui dont ou (where not or) we've learnt lots of idiomatic phrases too and the different things we need to do for the different formats 4 da written production. such as a formal letter, penpal letter, journal entry... that's all i can remember at the moment sorry, i dont hav any of my french stuff on me right now, but i'll reply again when i do!
13. one of my final tok presentations (we do 2 then choose our best mark, and i want this one to be the good one) is coming up and i wanted to do mine on rumours/gossip but im unsure what my contemporary problem should be; i don't know how to cut "rumours" down, what sort of knowledge issues to look at. any ideas?
