  1. I am thinking of getting a re evaluation. I was ONE point away from an A in my EE. Incredibly frustrating. But what does getting a Re-count intail? Who do you have to contact and is it a big hassle? Also, is there any way to see the scores that you get on your internal assessment? I am really curious about how my math exploration did.
  2. Surprisingly, my logins for the candidate.ibo.org website still works even though I took my exam last year. So I decided to take a screenshot of my results such that you can see how the layout looks like. The first screenshot is the general results page. If I click on the "Detailed results" of any subject, it will lead me to another page with grade boundaries for that specific subject. So the second screenshot is my detailed results for math HL. If you have further questions, feel free to ask. btw, good luck with your results!!! Results.JPG ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Detailed.JPG Nice! thank you, now I know what to expect.
  3. I have been dreading the moment I open the page to view my results, and feel even more uneasy not knowing how the layout will look. I am wondering what I can expect to see at the top of the page, will there be a clear notice as to whether I have passed or not? Or do I have to do the math myself? Which subjects do they show first and where are their corresponding grades located, etc. If anyone has a description, or better yet a layout of how the results will look on the IBO candidates page, I’de much appreciate it!
  4. I believe there may be some in Norway. I live in Sweden and it appears that there aren’t November exams here. But I would look into Norway, I have it on good authority that they have November exams there and I will be looking into it if I need to do retakes. This might help as well, you can see the examination date if you click on the school http://www.ibo.org/en/programmes/find-an-ib-school/?SearchFields.Keywords=&SearchFields.Language=&SearchFields.BoardingFacilities=&SearchFields.SchoolGender=
  5. I think kids at my school saw IB as pretentious because it’s an English speaking course, and has a reputation of being difficult. Haha I learned that the hard way when I was waiting in the hall for a lesson to start, and I heard a few girls across from me talking about how much they hated IB students. I think they turned a bit red when a friend came over and we started speaking in English haha.
  6. Our TOK instructor never gave us a example of a TOK presentation that received a top grade. Apparently the IB have made changes to the TOK presentation criteria, and they therefore didn’t want to shows us other people’s presentation. We are about halfway done with our TOK presentation, but I really wish I had some good examples to look at. Did your teachers give you any good examples of a TOK presentation? Online I can pretty much only find prezis, which isn’t enough. I’d like a script as well, or a recording to watch. If you know of any such presentation i could watch/read that got top grades, or if you would like to share your own, I’d greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance.
