  1. One idea I was considering when I took Bio HL was how visual stimuli impacted the speed in which a mouse/rat completed a race. visual stimuli could include having arrows leading through the maze or walls that were colored green for the correct directions for example.
  2. You could but that's towing a thin line on argument. If there's not much research maybe choose something other than mannerism, other than that I'm not sure I have a better idea.
  3. It sounds good it's a little hard to read so you may want to clean it up a little but I think your ideas are all there. Out of curiosity where are you from? I'm from Oregon, it's like 02:30 here
  4. When in doubt trust your supervisor and talk it out with them. Your question seems pretty good but as a suggestion you may want to make "how" more specific. Such as replacing it with a more argumentative statement such as "in what ways". That way your question is more direct and states that it DOES alter the idea of beauty. Also, if you are comparing/contrasting the two artists you may want to make that more clear, rather that lumping them together. If not, you may want to clarify the other direction and link them.
  5. Easiest: a statistical analysis that involves some kind of popular activity available at school and grades, or some other easily gathered variable. So like sports impact on grades, or music impact on amount of regular physical activity. the ones that will get the best grade/score: some kind of project that is unique and has nothing to do with the above easiest option. I did mine on the impact of population on the frequency of Bigfoot sightings across the US. you don't have to do something hard but be creative! hope this helped
  6. You need a date, or range of dates to narrow your scope, take a look at all the in terms to make sure "to what extent" is the one you really want to use for this idea. Otherwise this sounds like a great topic! You seem to have done some research on this already.
  7. Suggestion: In what ways do religious knowledge shape the way a family perceives events? Or, In what ways does religion impact a family's perception of knowledge?
  8. Thank you for your helpful advice! I'll discuss changing my idea with my supervisor.
  9. I have a question that you guys might be able to help me with. I know that I want to go to school and be a teacher but I can't figure out if I want to be a High school or Elementry school teacher. I have pros and cons for each but nobody in my family wants me to be a teacher because they think it's stupid. I'm just looking for other people's opinions on the matter, and what you might do. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. :3
  10. Hello, I'm sort of new to this website but I've been having some trouble forming my question for my extended essay. I know what I would like it to be about but I'm having a terrible time trying to turn it into a question. I would like my paper to be about how Hitler intended to go into WWII in 1945 and how that would've changed the outcome of the war had he been successful. Thank you for taking the time to read my post!
  11. Q: How I stop being that way? Q: Am I the only one, or is anyone else like this? A: Nobody should have to feel the way you do right now, and that isn't to say being anxious. You shouldnt have to explain yourself in such a way that it becomes uncomfortable to you. Lots of people are introverted, thats why they have a word for the term. Im sorry that your teacher made you feel uncomfortable and I want you to know that you can always find a resource in us. You don't have to change yourself, and i think that trying to go that route, you will find that it is much more difficult. You mentioned switching to home school but thats a hard change too, if your parents are qualified to teach you that would be great but sometimes just pushing through school is the best option, you just need to know what is good for you.
