  1. I've been deciding between Zoology and Equine physiotherapy for a while. I'm almost 100% commited to Equine Physiotherapy now as, although I love wildlife and travelling, taking the Zoology route would mean I couldn't have horses as I'd be away so often... Also, a horse called Lori has inspired me to want to help other horses like him, and their owners, too. It's a long long path to take - have to start with humans and do lots of work experience before specialising on animals and eventually horses... about 6-7 years worth of training. But I'm hoping it will be worth it for a life-time career doing what I love. =] x Not that zoology is just wildlife and travelling

  3. Although our teacher has promised us copies of the TOK essay titles, she is extremely forgetful, and we are starting to worry a little... I was wondering if anybody had a copy of the TOK titles which they could scan for us? I'd be very thankful!!!! xxx
  4. Cute little momma had a swag like mine, she even wear her hair down her back like mine. I'll make you feel right when it's wrong, like lying, and man you ain't never had a love like mine. Man I ain't never seen an ass like hers, that **** in my mouth had me lost for words. I told her back it up like burp burp, I'll make that ass clap like jurp jurp. That's when she...she licked me like a lollipop...like a lollipop... shawty wann a thug, bottles in the club, shawty wanna hump, you know i'd like to touch yo lovely lady lumps... Random, I know, but am listening to the Framing Hanley version as part of a playlist intended to keep me sane during IB work... it's not working
  5. Yeh, I was thinking of adding something to a solution with aspartame and to a solution without and seeing what happened. =] Thankyou That's a shame! It does sound interesting doesn't it? I figured I could put something in a solution containing aspartame (such as diet coke) and doing the same with a solution not containing aspartame (like real coke), draw a comparison etcetera =]
  6. I've finally thought of something I'm interested in. And that is the artificial. Artificial everything. Mostly I've narrowed down to Baby formula milk and the use of Aspartame as an artificial sweetener. These are both topics which worry, and therefore interest, me. I am most interested in aspartame. I always think that I'd rather drink a fizzy drink containing sugar than risk whatever aspartame can do to me health-wise. Does it sound reasonable that my experiment be in testing what happens when introducing.. something.. to a diet drink containing aspartame and it's counterpart regular drink containing similar or identical incredients without the aspartame? If I experimented on this and wrote about the possibilities of health risks as well as on research into what other people have discovered, would this be reasonable for my EE? All I want is to pass it!
  7. You don't have to gas humans or anything. You could do the comparitive experiment and write on that, and do research on what it could and would and does do to humans.
  8. A Cupcake is generally a small, iced, sponge cake. A muffin (which is not always in a paper 'cup') is a risen sort of cake, not as sweet as a cupcake, un-iced, and with bits in it of some description.. Or that's what I say. Makes sense to me but possibly not to others. If you had to have one celebrity ToK teacher, who would it be? (living)
  9. History of the Modern World... I don't even take History... but aparantly I am God
  10. Hey, does anybody know the criteria for word count in English coursework? I know the total is 1500, but what does this include? Does it include quotes from the book (ones that are not part of the sentence) ? .. hopefully not.. otherwise I'm gonna have toooo many words xx thanks all p.s. don't know why this is in EE...didn't do that intentionally
  11. As I said - I can't see an experimental element in this or any other area of ANY interest whatsoever. The only thing to have sparked my imagination is structure of the jaw and teeth.. but that's just a desk study. I like physiological things. I'd LOVE to do something on physiology of horses as the whole purpose of doing my EE in biology is that I want to do Physiotherapy in university in order to become an equine physiothereapist. I really don't want to resort to doing something simple and boring and of no interest to me.
  12. Ok. This is the problem. I have the very vaguest of areas, and I can't see an experimental element. I also don't know how to formulate an essay title. I'm very interested in teeth. Ideally I'd like something along the lines of "evolution of structure and function of the human jaw relating to dietary needs" ? But I honestly can't see this working out. Someone please help me =/ I need help. I really am desperate now and I wish we'd had all the EE info a year ago so we could start it then. Because this is just too much at once. IB=HELL
  13. You see, though. The problem is that EVERYTHING is interesting (believe me, I spend my life observing the horses). Does anyone have any examples of Physiology questions in general? I am wondering how I can bring observation into the lab.
  14. Hey world, I'm new to this forum. This is the thing, I really really want to do my EE on a topic relating to Equine physiology (horses). I'm struggling to think of anything I can do, but it is really what I have interest in, as well as what I want to do in life, which is why I chose to do my EE in Biology. I have plenty of horses to observe, and possibly do (obviously unharmful) testing on, if I ask extra nicely . I also have a friend who owns two horses, who I can observe and study at will. Ideally, I want something that doesn't involve too much spending on equipment. I'd love it to be by observation, but understand there has to be some experimentation as well. So, yeah. Please, if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to have them. Otherwise I guess I'll just have to do something on blood pressure or heart rate or something. Thank you for your time! Xx
