  1. I think you just need to reword your idea to form a question. "To what extent is artificial intelligence "human" and should be treated with equal human ethics?" and from this you can start to define what's human and what's not, when will AI be considered human? When it has 5 characteristics or more...? What makes it not human? ... seems like it's going to be relatively long so maybe try to reduce the scope a little, maybe focusing on whether AI can be given ethics of choice, death, equal wage or human rights? Sounds very interesting though! Good luck!
  2. My immediate thoughts were about literatures and how some literary pieces are considered timeless. You can argue that literature is a form of historical record-keeping and they definitely reflect the historical events at the time written. However, they are considered timeless because the topic touched upon in these literary pieces are still relevant. Something like that I guess? Or you can delve into the concept of "history repeats itself" and thus you can argue that yes it is important to judge events at the time it occurred because we can use the same way of thinking to apply to current events, and therefore in this case, it is important to consider the time it occurred so it can be useful at another time. Mention some historical events that repeats (reasons for WWI and WWII with imperialism thinking for example). Those are some of my thoughts, do ask your teacher about these before decide to incorporate them into your essay. Good luck!
  3. Consider myself super lucky I got a 29/36 --> A in English Lang and Lit - on a very popular and overdone topic to be honest
  4. Simon Fraser University - with IB Entrance Scholarship - a really good deal guys, consider it. If you pass with 34 points and above. If you pass IBDP (24 points), you have a full year of transfer credits WHOOP WHOOP! Trinity Western University University of Calgary University of Manitoba all four with 39 points (I picked SFU) (2016) - Linguistics Major
  5. Excuse me for a while, while I'm wide-eyed and I'm so damn caught in the middle... And a lion, a lion roars would you not listennnnnnnn?
  6. OMG question 4 sounds really good. I've finished the IB but still, anyone doing that question, it lends itself well to for and against arguments.
  7. Of course you can use more than 2 AOKs, however, considering the word limit they stated (1600 words right?), it is very difficult to go into depth of the knowledge question with three AOKs since you are limiting the depth of your essay. I suggest you should just stick to two and you'll be fine.
  8. It's been more than 24 hours I'm pretty sure, so how did you guys all do? I chose questions 17, 18, and 20: Nixon's domestic, Fidel Castro's retention of power and the domestic impact of the Vietnam War. I hope I did okay. I know I won't fail that's for sure.
  9. saw people talking about paper 2 so I guess I can complain about my stupid error now. The cumulative frequency graph, I can't believe it but somehow I messed up with the percentile, I kept thinking Q1 was 25% of the x-axis value when it was supposed to be the y-axis.... There goes my hope for level 7 in Math Studies...
  10. TZ2 I think I did okay, a few minor errors here and there that I should have realised during the exams but oh well Paper 2 was more of an issue for me and I'm just here, waiting until we can discuss Paper 2 haha
  11. TZ2. I chose question 4 and 25. About why the Nationalists failed during Chinese Civil War and Mutual fear caused the development of Cold War. I am quite satisfy with my essay to question 4. But for question 25, I ran out of time and somehow completely forgot to implement a counter-argument to the essay Do you guys know the highest possible mark for a one-sided essay in History?
  12. Yes. Section A was so difficult. I didn't expect all those diagrams. I did Section D, the knowledge they demand is relatively easy. If you cover all topics, the section wasn't too tricky. I'm just disappointed in Section A. I made random guesses throughout the section....
  13. omg please have low grade boundaries this year's exams seems to be very difficult and too specific. IB is probably running out of things to ask students haha Mine was TZ2 btw
  14. Question 5. I always go for the general ones to try any narrow it down instead of picking specific one, because sometimes I run out of things to say. I did The Crucible and The White Tiger. I think it was alright. 4 pages total
  15. I chose the second pair. This year's texts are oddly long, i didn't have enough time to write a really comprehensive essay. I did finish everything on time though but not with the quality I wanted...
