  1. Guys I know there was a question about the difference of identifying compounds or something like that using H NMR and Infrared method? What was the answer?

  5. Any of you guys know the answer to the equation for the tray? I was so confused about that one
  6. Hi guys, I know we have had separate discussion rooms for Chemistry, but I thought we can talk about Paper 3 specifically here :). How's everyone Paper 3?
  7. I didn't see my timezone either, but I got the question about phosphine, pre and post combustion of SO2 and the question about the two compounds (A and B). It's funny how everyone here predicts that the grade boundaries will be lower this year whereas the ones in the other forum predict it will be higher. Anyways, I hope they do show mercy on us since we're the first batch of the new syllabus XD.
  8. Hahahahaha for the different results question I wrote the presence of systematic and random errors... I guess I'm screwed now
  9. I didn't think of that in the exam room . They're both isomers right?
  10. Guys, for the pre-combustion of sulfur dioxide question, will neutralizing with water (which can act as a base) count as correct? Also, for the chemical test for separating compound A and B, would distillation be correct? Are you sure the grade boundaries will be higher this year?
  11. So I'm taking it that answering the allotrope as hydrogen is also wrong?
  12. Yeah, totally crossing my fingers on that one. I find it really strange that all your classmates' answers were within 100 (I was expecting a value above 1,200) because I don't think its possible considering the values given.
  13. like the number of people who took airplanes? and the ones who who didn't take any of the three transportation? I know there is also a huge section on the probability but I think I screwed it up?
  14. Really? That's strange because my two other friends got the same answer as well! What was your class' answer?
  15. Oh really? Its because I got 21.2.. so I have to round it down to 21 cups haha. What was your answer to the Venn diagram question? I am really worried about that one.
