  1. Thank you for your reply. I just wanted to get things cleared up because there has been chaos in my class the last few days
  2. My teacher took my raw mark for my ITGS IA and inputted it for my Ontario curriculum grade, is that supposed to happen or should that mark be adjusted and then put it in my OSSD grade.
  3. I am wondering if there are regulations to the use of animal cells in experimentation for my EE? For example methods of harvesting?
  4. Hey I want to conduct a bio lab using diabetic mice. The thing is these mice are mutated to have diabetes. I was wondering if I could still use these mice? This experiment would be done in a lab that has an ethics license and is ethicaly allowed to test these mice. I will also have a supervisor at the lab in addition to one at my school. Is this an exception to the animal experimentation policy?
  5. I don't think so. I guess I'll do something else for my lab
  6. Even if the mice are mutated by the facility where they come from?
  7. Yes but it also says: Any experimentation should not result in any pain or undue stress on any animal (vertebrate or invertebrate) or compromise its health in any way. Therefore experiments that administer drugs or medicines or manipulate the environment or diet beyond that easily tolerated by the animal are unacceptable I am wondering if it would violate this as well?
  8. Hey guys I want to do my EE on bio and I am wondering if it is possible to use mice that are mutated to have type 1 diabetes. Besides this mutation there is nothing else I see that would cause ethical conerns for the experiment I am going to conduct
