    HL Paper 3

Hello!! Does anyone have any resources for HL Paper 3, Europe. I'm doing 14: European states in the inter-war years (1918–1939) and 15: Versailles to Berlin: Diplomacy in Europe (1919–1945). If you have any resources/notes that would be incredibly helpful!!! THANKS!

    IB HL English Exam

Hi guys! I'm slightly confused about the IB HL English Exam. I know there are two papers but that's about it. Could someone give me a lowdown of how the exam works? What will I have to do? How are the texts I read during the year incorporated into this? How many works do I need to study for the exam? What kind of questions can I expect? Thank you, Natalie

TOK Prsentation: What is a good KQ?

Hi @mac117 Thanks for the advice! I feel like bad teachers are the greatest struggle for IB because they can really screw you over for May...

TOK Prsentation: What is a good KQ?

Hi @kw0573 Thanks for your quick reply! Would something like: "TWE does bias play a role in trust?" be better? Also, what are the formats that knowledge questions usually take? Can you give me some example knowledge questions? Thanks again!
  6. Hello Would someone be able to give me guidance if this a good TOK KQ: Should we trust international NGOs? Basically for my presentation, I'm interested in challenging the blind assumption that International NGOs are always doing good work (e.g. Amnesty International, Oxfam, Doctors Without Borders, etc.) Any guidance will be much appreciated!
  7. I keep seeing different values. Does IB (2018) use STP or SATP and what are the values? e.g. is 1 atm 101.325 or 101 or 100 kPa? Thanks!

    4th Dimension Math IA

I'm trying to come up with topic for my SL Math IA. I am particularly interested in looking into concepts related to the 4th Dimension and non-Euclidian geometry but I'm having trouble coming up with ways to add calculations into my IA. In particular, I wanted to look at the use of non-Euclidian geometry in certain modern art pieces. Any help and guidance is greatly appreciated!

    Chemistry IA - Water

I want to do my HL Chemistry IA on either water purification or testing for pollutants from my local water source. Any ideas?
  10. Has anyone here done a World Studies EE in Chem and History or at least involving a physical science? Tips?
  11. Do you think I can get into an engineering program with SL Math, SL Physics, and HL Chem?

    HLs or better grades?

Do universities care about what HL courses you take? Is it better to do HL or get a really high mark in an SL course? I'm not sure what I want to go into exactly yet, but I'm considering engineering as an option. At this point, I do not take any HL sciences though. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

    SL or HL

Do universities care whether you take HL or SL courses? I enjoy Chemistry, but it is not my best subject. I am not sure whether I should take HL or SL.
  14. Hi everyone, I wanted to do my EE in World Studies, but most of the staff in my school suggest I do not because none have ever moderated a World Studies essay. I was wondering if anyone who has completed a World Studies essay could give me a rundown of the process. How did you apply the interdisciplinary approach? What were the challenges and advantages? How did you choose your moderator? Do you think you are more or less likely to score well with a World Studies approach? My main concern is that the courses I am taking are Eng, French, History, Physics, Chem, and Math, so most are not appropriate for an interdisciplinary approach. If anyone can think of a topic which would combine these disciplines, that would be super helpful. I am particularly interested in Latin American history. I know this is a lot of questions, but I feel like I have been going in circles for the past month and any help I could get would be greatly appreciated!!!
