  1. We have been practicing for Paper 1 in history class recently, and I have discovered that I am bad at managing my time throughout the test. I believe we are supposed to spend 10 minutes on the first question (content based question, and meaning of visual document), 10 on the OPCVL, 15 on the compare and contrast, and 25-30 minutes on the essay question. My only problem is that I can't seem to wrap up the other parts fast enough to get to the essay question. Does anyone have any tips on how to speed up the process so that I can make it to the essay question with time to spare? Thanks!
  2. I would argue that they are. My high school offers IB, and we were picked by IB HQ as one of three schools in the world that they wanted to come and film. It certainly depends on where you are, but I think Canada has a pretty good reputation when it comes to IB.
  3. Thank you so much! I'm not the most tech savvy and I was really struggling with how to format this. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer😊
  4. Mine is a historical reference. I'm a bit of a history-buff, and love Elizabethan/Tudor history with a passion. Tudor rose came from that.
  5. I have a pretty good general history knowledge. My Grandfather used to be a history teacher, and he and I are always trying to teach each other things only to discover that the other already knows. Kind of nerdy, but I am really into history, and proud of it!😅
  6. Hi! I am a fairly new IB student. I finished Pre-IB last year, and am in second month of Grade 11 IB. We just got Managebac accounts and have been encouraged to start logging CAS, but I'm not sure how. I can find the section that needs to be filled out for different activities, but I don't know how to tag things. I volunteer twice a week, and instead of having to log each session individually --annoying my supervisor constantly with repeated notifications-- I was wondering if there was a way to log something as an ongoing activity instead...? There's probably a really simple solution, but I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!
