  1. I'm finished!! Done!! Ah, the sweet sense of purposelessness. Okay, I'm changing mine from staying up all night to sleeping FOREVER. Or at least until Schoolies starts. Weeeee!!!
  2. Ditto. I talked about the circle of life type theme. I really hope I get a good mark for Paper 1 because I have a feeling my Paper 2's going to be a 6, and I REALLY want a 7 for English. I thought Paper 1 was very good - didn't read the prose, but the poem was excellent.

    HL: English or Bio?

If you're doing well in SL English, I would do HL English. It's really not that much harder than SL, and there's a hell of a lot less work than Biology.
  4. I liked Paper 2, even though I didn't have enough time at the end to go over and check everything. I was literally writing until the last minute. I was lucky because they picked all my favourite topics: matrices, normal distribution, vectors, functions and equations.... Thank God it wasn't just a whole lot of calculus!! Oh, that ferris wheel question at the end!! I was so glad they put that on there instead of normal trig, because I'm much better at working out logical problems with NUMBERS (ie. not sin and cos which mean nothing to me). For the 0.3 thing, they probably rounded off the numbers as they went. I did it all on calc, and got 0.2.
  5. I actually liked this paper! It was very challenging, and a lot of people were complaining afterwards, but I think I actually did well. I didn't get Q6 either, Bandev, but everything else was fine. The last few questions with Ao and Q15 had me stuck for a while, but I managed to figure them out in the end. It's always a nice feeling when you can't do something at first, but then you work through it logically and get the answer. I really, really, REALLY want a 7 for Maths.
  6. I don't do Biology, but I was reading some posts over at TSR, and the one you picked was correct. Just letting you know.
  7. Would it actually add to the work load at all? As long as you're still doing only three HL topics, the only real difference is that you get more choice in which topics you can do.
  8. I'm actually reading the Bible at the moment... I'm an Atheist, but I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
  9. Hey, I have exactly the same problem!! My Physics teacher just wanders out of our class sometimes and doesn't come back. Not as bad as one of my Year 9 teachers, who used to leave class to go make bets on horse races.
  10. Hey everyone! I had my last day of school today. All the Year 12s cried their eyes out and some of us made speeches. Gah... I don't want IB to be over!!! Waaaahhh!
  11. Hey, this is so cool! I keep getting stuck on one way - it helps if you look at the shadow below the girl when you want to change directions.
  12. Hah! A couple of the girls in my Maths class have taken to writing down anything hilarious people have said in our classes over the last two years. They have pages of them now... we're going to make it into a book when IB's over so we can remember all the good times. *sigh*
  13. Last year at our school about 90% got their diplomas. I don't know about other years.... I think there'll be at least one person in our year who won't get theirs.
  14. Ahhh, my study is not going well - I am increddddibly lazy. I just drew up a timetable for myself over the next 22 days. Hopefully I'll be able to force myself to stick to it and actually get something done. I got the results of my mock exams back - I got 7s for English and French, and did reeeaaaalllly badly in everything else - basically everything that actually involves learning stuff. I must get to work! Hope everyone else's revision is going well. See you all on the other side.
