  1. ehhhh.... still the same problem, Coventry just wont get the transcript for some reason
  2. Hello there, I wish i could just do that, the problem is that if you are from the middle east, from Bahrain to be precise, you get your hard copy results at the ends of august, which can be a bit late for me to finish up my requirements. You mean the official IB Diploma. If your coordinator logs in the IBO's portal, then the school has access to each student's grades online. He/she can print yours, sign it and stuff and it is legitimate. Some universities may ask for an official copy of your IB Diploma as well, some may not. This copy is just a back up anyway since, from what you've told us, the IBO has already sent the grades. Oh and the A-level results come out on the 16th of August so you may have received your Diploma a bit after that and then be able to send it as well. I will contact my coordinator and see how it goes, and yeah IBO says they sent my grades, but coventry university says they havent received it, i will call them tomorow and see if there are any updates.

  4. Hello guys , I am an international student from the middle east, i managed to get a conditional offer from Coventry university, and i have managed to fulfill the requirements, the problem is i requested IB to send them a transcript of my grades, an according to their sayings Coventry has received it, i called Coventry to confirm that they received it, but they said they haven't, so i contacted IB and they said its there and they got it and they will call them again, and the same problems is still going on. N.B: the transcript was sent electronically so guys what do you reckon is the problem, and what should i do now?
  5. Jumping of a bridge huh? so this is a joke to you? well i wouldnt blame you, you are probably living in a nice sweet area in greece chillin out, in case you noticed the flag under my name says Bahrain, you wouldnt have a clue on how life is it where i come from, and how damn hard is to create a studying environment, you cant imagine what scholars like me have to go through everyday just by going to school, let me give you a hint, go google and type Bahrain, maybe then you will learn to choose your words more carefuly rather than speaking daggers. I'm sure Fani meant that as an exaggeration. No one is taking your situation as a joke, and I agree with Fani that you should let your feelings calm down before doing anything. ughh mate what can i say, its just fraustrating you know, i have wanted to be involved in aircraft since childhood, i always wanted to study in Uk ever since, 1 point away from all that? how would you feel? examiners where tough this year i guess

  7. i'ill wait for the feedback from the enquiry, i pray to god they fix this thing, i dont want this to be the end of my UK dreams.
  8. omfg thats not fair, atleast they should give me a 3 and ill move in with my life, not deny me my damn diploma thats sad :'( even if some (lazy ass) people dont do their IA at all and they just write down basic ideas and maybe get some basic points, but they do well in their exams they can still get 5s and 6s (7 as well actually but they would have to do really really well on their exams), if the thread starter is as good in physics/maths as he said he should have gotten a 3 or higher even if the IA magically disappeared Edit: I also dont think its grade inflation, I wrote the same exams (HL and tz2) and my teacher said I would probably get a 5 with how well I did in my IAs and how he thought I would do in the exams. I thought I did **** in the actual IB exams and somehow ended up getting 6. Just wait for the enquiry, keep in contact with your ib coordinator and it should work out How do you think you did in your physics exams btw? tbh mate i was hoping for a 5, expecting a 4, will live with a 3, but a 2 just officially Bum R**** me
  9. i already requested my coordinator to make an enquiry, why you think they flunked me, im not that stupid in physics, i got 93% in school certificate, and 6 in math, you think they will make my grade better?
  10. But my college will be starting at september, i dont wana miss a full year of my life just to retake my subjects
  11. Hello guys, I am a candidate from the middle east, i recently viewed my results on the web, and i was totally devastated, all grades were fine, except my physics, i scored 2, that shock me to the limit, i have conditional offers from universities stating that i should get 27 points in Ib, my total is exactly 27 but i failed an Hl subject with that 2 and im not awareded the diploma, i cant understand how i got 2, im realy good at physics, i got a full mark in my internal assessment, i scored a 6 in Maths, its not rational to score 2 in physics, i requested a remark, and i wana know how exactly did i get 2, does anyone know the grade method for physics HL, as in the percentage of the 3 papers and the internal assessments? please help me, i couldnt sleep yesterday because of this, do you guys know anything i can do? i need to pass that subject.
