My current school has it pretty fifty-fifty as well. There are gender differences in classes though. Spanish is mainly girls , while the physics class has more boys. Our IB students are pretty math and physics oriented though, with the majority in HL Math and Physics. Thus there are many girls in those classes as well. I think in general girls may be more inclined for the IB program, but the fact that here it is so math and phyics oriented keeps it more even.
