This is why it's a good idea to do a test experiment before your actual one to work out the parameters. Also it gives you something more to talk about in your write up :)

I suggest you do a test but probably measure it via something like "the time it takes to remove the paint from an area the size of X" as the level of resistance. Use a test run to see how viable this is (e.g. you might use surface area of paint removed as the variable) and to see what sorts of times you're getting.

Also I assume it's oxidation? You'll need to know the theory anyway, so it's a good idea to look it up :coffee:
