Paper 1 and calculator?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I would like to know if it's possible to use a graphic display calculator during the SL Math Studies paper 1? I'm not really good with mental sums and such, so that kind of worries me

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply

I was checking some old tests from 2007, and I noticed they do have some quite extended multiplications... I think it's pretty ridiculous to make us lose so much time to make that kind of operations when we're able to make much more advanced stuff. But well, that's just what we have to do.

Yeah, if you know the processes you should be fine. :D

Although, I wish they did allow a simple 4-function calculator, just to save time on the simple/basic aspects of the math lol.
