Rhea Eve D'souza Posted December 11, 2011 Report Share Posted December 11, 2011 We studied Othello this year and I'm quite intrigued by Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet! I've also read Merchant of Venice, which I really really enjoyed - so definitely look into it. And then when I visited Venice, I felt all the memories of Merchant of Venice coming back to me! Ooh and I've heard Julius Caesar is a must-read too. What do you love most about Shakespeare? I love the depth in the words and the portrayal of characters, personally. Definitely agree with his portrayal of characters. In Othello, I particularly liked the Willow scene with Desdemona and Emilia. Although I found his language difficult to understand at first, I love how poetic it can be. The soliloquies can be really eloquent too. Avan:) Posted December 12, 2011 Report Share Posted December 12, 2011 comedy of errors kept me laughing so hard, even though i sometimes hardly understood anything, ...which made me laugh harder :3 lol But the movie version of 12th night is as funny as the book too, especially act 5 scene 1 (last one) where orsiono's expression is just like: "YES!
