joliefille
Hey everyone!I'm a second-year IB diploma candidate and I'm so thoroughly disgusted with my current topic for my EE, a history essay, that I'm seriously considering just scrapping it and starting over with something that I could actually enjoy writing. My question is, is it possible to write an EE in Film even though there isn't an IB film class offered at my school? My potential topic would be a study of "typecasting" of Meryl Streep in her films "Sophie's Choice," "The Bridges of Madison County," and "Mamma Mia."I would probably use articles that describe her versatility and reviews of each of the films, because the first two are critically acclaimed and the third can be considered more a commercial success then a "deep" film, and then compare and contrast the roles she has in each film.Thoughts?
