Leah
Im also taking the bilingual IB Diploma. I chose English A, and German A. German is my native language, but Im at an international school for the past 2 years now. Unfortunately I couldn't continue with French due to my interests and mostly universities. mhelof
I'm doing IB in English and although my language A is English it is still bilingual diploma because I'm Polish. I do English A only because my school does not offer Polish A (which is pretty sad since my English skills are not too impressive). Reply
r1111
I am doing it in English. I didn't realize there were people who took the Diploma in other languages. At first I misread the question and thought it asked what language you were studying. Reply
Darkbloom
I'm doing ib in English from Finland. To my knowledge English is the only language in which you can do this curriculum in Finland. Though we study Finnish literature as one subject which is obviously in Finnish. Reply

Richard Bankole
I'm doing IB in a school on the outskirts of Paris, but we do it in English. There's French A: Lang&Lit and English A: Lit, but aside from Group 1 and Group 2 (English B HL, French B SL/HL/ab initio and Spanish B SL) all of our classes are in English. As far as I've heard and as far as I can see here, there's no IB school in France that teaches in French since they're all international schools. Alex Jordan
My school only offers English A, which is kind of sad - I really wanted to get a bilingual diploma! But what's done is done. Reply
IB_taking_over
IBDP is in EnglishEnglish is also the only A1 at my school (must take it at HL) Reply
Schrodinger's CAS
The IBDP at our school is English, but our coordinator told us that if we right our EEs in another language, we can get a bilingual DP. Does anyone know if this is true? Reply
The00333
I'm doing the IBDP in French, though i wish i could do it in English. I actually don't mind it except for the fact that we have to take French A HL. It is not realistic to force us into doing this when only 1 person in the class could get a 7.
