yayitsbreeee
I really want to write my EE in music; however, i know it's really hard to come up with a topic that is specific enough and relates purely to music. Does anyone know if it is frowned upon to write about musical investigation of your own, with reference to other pieces, or even composition? I guess what I'm asking is whether the essay has to be on specific pieces, or if it can be investigative of the elements of music itself? I hope some of that made sense...but there's always math if all else fails. =] Reply

yayitsbreeee
I would, but the criteria specifically states it should focus on the music rather than the composer or instrument it is written for. IB is a new program in my school, so no one really knows what there doing... Reply
