__inthemaking
To my knowledge, there is no dance as an IB subject, meaning you can't write an EE on that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong..? Reply
Mike
I think Dance is one of there new "test" subjects along with Film. Reply
flsweetheart422
When I was looking at all the EE literature and statistics, I saw that you can do a Dance EE it is considered one of the pilot subjects. In all, 720 people did pilot subjects for their EEs last year, and the average grade for these pilot topics was 5.20. blueangel101
ahh;;that sounds discouraging.but yes, dance IS a new IB subjected, just passed for the 2009 examination... Reply
Mandiloquence
That sounds like a very interesting and fun topic! You could look at different types of dance and some that are trying to convey meaning. For example, the Flamenco tells a story, etc. It would be possible to compare the culture from which the dance originated to the movements in the dance.Or you could do the history and development of a certain type of dance (basically its evolution).Just some random ideas. Good luck! Reply
