Hinuku
Hi, I just wanted to ask if it is possible that a question asking for the description of one industrial process occurs on the final exam. And if yes, how could it be stated? The reason I ask is that one could write a one hunder page essay on this topic so I just don't know how much I should learn about it. Thanks Reply
Drake Glau
There are objectives that rather explicitly state what you need to know for the contact process and haber process. You need to know both of those. I would try and remember the conditions (pressure, temperature, DEFINITELY the catalyst) and then also remember the chemical equation for each step (or only one step for the Haber...) daxx
The questions are almost always applying Le Châtelier's principle to the processes. At least judging from the questions that my teacher has given us. We also had a question about the 'compromise' that has to be made regarding temperature and rate of reaction.
