It is the typical history question and I´m sure there were 10 million EEs dealing with that question and none got more than C. Try to go for a national history topic that gives originality to your task and it´s much easier as you have more access to resources. My advice is that you try to investigate more and seek a non-obvious topic that can create a debate and were you can express your critical thinking.
