El Che Posted June 5, 2011 Report Share Posted June 5, 2011 The Great Purge is considered to be a successful policy because Stalin succeeded in eliminating his opponents (Old Bolsheviks associated with Lenin, Stalin’s ex-associates – Zinoviev and Kamenev and some other people from the party’s high positions).
