baib
I'm also having some trouble coming up with an EE topic for english. I want to do something with Atonement by Ian McEwan. An idea that I had was to talk about the inability to mend things once they're broken in reference to the vase and Cecilia and Robbie's relationship but I don't know if I'll have enough to talk about. I also thought I might try to compare it to Catch-22 but I'm not sure. I'm stuck! Any ideas? Reply

Any ideas?research the idea a little bit to see if the information is out there. that is why i had to drop the metamophasis that i metioned earlier. i couldnt find the information that i was looking for so i decided to change my topic slightly.look for literary critis who talk about the same idea. this is what i did. it was time consuming. i spent three hours mon-fri at the libary for about a wek and a half doing research. but in the end it was worth it. i really fel that i knew what was going on in the lord of the flies, and hter were perfesionals who shared my opinion. i don't know the books so i really can't say much more.
