Ahaz Al-Hinai Posted July 4, 2011 Report Share Posted July 4, 2011 I have two EEs on mind, both of them concern the use of a frequency analyzer: The first topic i am thinking of is can the sound produced by water hitting a surface determine the temperature of the water. I already thought of a technique of how to write the essay. The only problem I have with this topic is how can this be useful in any possible situation, I have thought thought of sound based thermometer but the teacher said it is not a plausible idea. The other topic is to use the frequency analyzer on a car's engine, the idea here is analyze the sounds produced in order to determine if there is something wrong with the engine.Any help would be appreciated and if there are any topics on mind regarding physics please do share.
