cookie.dough.love
If English is your mother tongue and you're studying HL French B, would it be hard to achieve a 6 ot 7 if you are not fluent in it, or you can put in enough effort to be able to get this? Feedback and thought please xo Reply
bigbangfan
Obviously you can reach a 7 in any subject if you put all your guts in it. That´s law. Anyway, to take a language B at HL you must have from 2 to 4 years of experience. I took a language B at HL and actually did not find any big differences between HL and SL. However, as language B syllabus is changing in 2013, HL language B will include the study of literature, making the course harder, and requiring more experience in the language, ergo the nuances between HL and SL will become more pronounced in terms of the syllabus and the difficulty of the subject. If you are not confident enough about your french accuracy, I´d suggest that you drop to SL French B which would be a more feasible option for you. Good luck 1 Reply
