Medieval History, particularly, and that's why I decided to major in that specific historical period. I plan to apply to universities in the UK (most likely Scotland) and although few offer Medieval History as a major I've managed to find the few that do. I know it's not a career-oriented course like Medicine or Law, but it's something I'm passionate about. Also, I plan to double major in Medieval History and Journalism, and one day to publish my own historical fiction books (:Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knows what UK universities are looking for in the personal statements of people applying for Medieval History? The unis I want to go to don't hold interviews, so my personal statement would be even more important than usual.
