Expired Manwich of Doom
From what I understand, the billingual diploma is achievable if one writes an EE in a Group 3 or 4 subject in a language other than their mother tongue. That's what I'm doing. So here I am, in the middle of rushing to finish my draft, and I began to wonder something...Are there any other requirements? Other than simply passing? Or is there a specific minimum in points that I have to obtain before the billingual diploma is awarded? My mentor reckons that the minimum amount of sources in French, the language in which my EE being written, is half of the overall total. Can anybody confirm this? CkyBlue
I am assuming not, the IBO site does not stipulate any more information about receiving a bilingual diploma (in terms of the EE) other then a written EE like you have specified.Bilingual diplomas are awarded for: two languages A1, or a language A1 taken together with a language A2, or a group 3 or 4 subject taken in a language other than the candidate's language A1, or an extended essay in a group 3 or group 4 subject written in a language other than the candidate's language A1.Check this out... it says your sources have to be mainly in French, which is pretty vague, but you might be able to interpret something from it. But I even think that all of it might have to be in french...A2 French Extended Essay pdf Reply

'mainly' is pretty vague. Reply
