How important is the influence of ethics in the social sciences?

Well... I was just about to ask the same :(

My first advice would be to consider why the social sciences and the natural sciences are seperate AoKs. Why not group them into one big AoK called 'science'? What have social science experiments and natural science experiments got in common? What is different about the results in the experiment? Why is it important that we seperate the two sciences?

Secondly, consider WoKs. What WoKs are used in nautral science and what are used in social sciences? What you should find is that there is a human element in the social science which differentiates it from natural sciences. This human element contains all the limitations which humans have in obtaining knowledge. To relate that to ethics, think about the objective of ethics and the objectives of social sciences. Why are they similar?
