'A Doll's House' and 'The Cherry Orchard'

Recommended Posts

I'm discussing how sticking to expectations from society and the so called 'socially acceptable behaviour' hinders their development... how Lyubov fails because she can't get past the inaction on her part which society expects from her, whereas Nora breaks away from the superficial relationship she has with her husband by doing something that would have been considered outrageous.

How appropriate is the title "Conflict Between Socially Acceptable Behaviour and Human Evolution as portrayed in ‘A Doll’s House’ and ‘The Cherry Orchard’"?
