dessskris
the quotation will of course be counted, since it's a part of your essay. the in-text-citation will be counted if you put it in the body of your essay, but if you're over the word limit already and want to reduce it you can put your ITCs as footnotes so they won't count towards the word count. the bibliography is not counted. Conan-kun
Does anyone know if they really check the word count? I can't decide whether my essay is 1629 words long (unchecked text box, footnotes, endnotes in word) Or 1521 excluding bibliography or 1498 excluding title page and bibliography or 1471 excluding the little reference markings and the aforementioned. Am confusing myself, and probably hyperventilating. Its petty I know, but which one? Edited February 21, 2012 by Conan-kun Reply
