Recommended Posts

i would like to know if my language choices are good enough to enter most of the universities in australia?

I'd say very easily :) If you're doing your subjects in English, and as long as you've completed 4 semesters of English with a sound achievement (meaning a 3 in HL or a 4 in SL), you're fine I think.

Bilingual? Easy. Even if you didn't have a bilingual diploma, you would likely be fine - for example, Monash prereqs are generally 3 in Eng A1 HL, 4 in Eng A1 SL, or 5 in Eng B HL. You may have to take the IELTS, though - email the unis regarding that.

This may provide some more info. This a doc. I found on the USyd Website so is specific for them.

Essentially it says the if you complete english B HL you need a 4 and at SL you need a 5.

Otherwise I think that you can complete a IELTS test and meet the requirements that way.
