Computer problem...

Recommended Posts

I want to install my question bank, but my Windows 7 home basic wont let me install it. Can anyone please tell me how can I run this program in a 64 bit computer?

Can you give me a little more detail on your Computer? Exactly what kind of error do you get.

This method may work:

Right click on the file and hit properties. Go to the Compatibility TAB. In the drop down menu select Windows XP.

That SHOULD be able to install the program. If not please tell me the Error ID# etc.

If its the older Questionbank (if the questions to up to 2005) then it will ONLY install on 32 bit windows (I had to dual boot xp to get it working). However, if its the 2nd version (the questions go to may 2008) then it works on both 32 and 64 bit.

That really doesn't matter. ALL 32 bit programs can work on 64 bit Windows 7. They just get installed within C:\Program Files (x86)\

Just run the question bank in compatibility mode...you should be fine.
