Degree Questions. And an Ab Initio One.

Hello.

I'm having a flick through ideas, and a language degree struck me as one of them.

Looking into a few, some have struck me.

At Exeter, Arabic and Spanish, in a FCH both can be from scratch.

At Bangor, Triple Languages, probably French, German and Spanish.

Because I do Ab Initio, but did one year of GCSE French, I was considering doing an Open University course. If I do, will it help my case getting into the Bangor course?

For OU courses, I was thinking either Intermediate (http://www3.open.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/course/l120.htm) or upper intermediate (http://www3.open.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/course/l211.htm). Are these suitable?

And finally, where on the Common European Framework Reference for Languages does Ab Initio lie?

^Link to CEFRL if you are unfamiliar.
