Turkalurky
Is it possible to use acronyms in Econ IAs if we have made it specific earlier on? So for example; Average Price Level (APL) and then after that just using APL whenever you want to say Average Price Level? Would we be marked down for this? dessskris
yes it is totally fine. my teacher advised us to do this and we've seen lots of good IA examples using acronyms. I always do that too 1 Reply
The Economist
Of course you can, but make sure that when you first mention the word in the commentary you write (probably in a parenthesis) what the acronym stands for in order to help the examiner. You only have to do this once so it's not a huge burden. Good luck with your IA 1 Reply
