David14
Any ideas to get more people to join IBSurvival (as this forum certainly deserves more members than it has)? Reply
Guest
Facebook Advertising? Maybe advertising on TSR and other IB websites Hahaha. Word of mouth has worked is by far the best for a forum like this. Reply
Sabs44
Maybe allow non-VIP's to get one free file download (so that they can see the benefit of contributing to the forum, and raising numbers) ? Reply
Mahuta ♥
We will look into this more actually. As for downloads, non-VIPs can download The General IB Downloads files. Reply
spereira14
I think just spreading the word would be good, if more people knew about the site, how helpful it is and the great resources it has, I truly believe they would get accustomed to visiting the site just as regularly as they visit Facebook, twitter, or other social networks Reply
kim luffy
Like everyone else said, word of mouth would be better especially when you say it helps you do portfolios and such. worked for me (as in i told my friends that and they joined ) Reply
Gaby
Well, I tried to convince my friends to join IBS and they replied with "well, you're there, if we want something from there, you'll always do it for us". But I guess the forum is doing quite well, it's not like no one is writing here or multitude of unanswered questions. Reply
David14
Yeah but on average there are only like 5 new topics posted everyday. Depends on your perspective whether that is a lot or not, but the more the merrier! Reply
Gaby
Yeah but on average there are only like 5 new topics posted everyday. Depends on your perspective whether that is a lot or not, but the more the merrier! I think the point is not in starting countless topics because some questions that are asked in new topics could really be asked in the existing ones, but rather in whether or not the existing topics are doing fine. From what I see here, being here for over a year, the forum is doing fine. But, of course, the more people, the better, as long as these people contribute to our forum. dessskris
not really actually, sometimes there are just so many unanswered posts because there's not enough people who want to help, unfortunately.IBS is on facebook and twitter, maybe we should get people to like the FB page and follow the twitter too. As in, downloading files for your friends is against the rules. Tell them if they make you do that, it will be breaking the rules and may cost you your VIP title! Don't let them do that to you. I do realize, thank you Maha. It's more like "you can ask them". And they loved me for sending the link to your "How to write a good bio report". I'm this oh-I-don't-know-this-so-I-will-ask-her kind of person in my class. Reply
