HiggsHunter Posted April 3, 2012 Report Share Posted April 3, 2012 Assuming that the question concerns the role of women in Shakespeare's day (rather than the role of women in Shakespeare's plays), you could cite Shakespeare's own wife as an example. There must have been many like Ann who played their domestic role with loyalty and courage while their husbands were away from home seeking fame and fortune.
