ibkid
Hi, im currently writing the psychology IA, and all of the academic journals, magazines, articles, etc... need mandatory subscription or some kind of membership to their site that involve a fee or some sort. Anyways, i was wondering if there are any good online databases that have many journals, etc.. that are free or only require a simple register to their site?? Thanks Reply
~Lc~
here are all the psychology databases I found that don't require Athens username and password. don't worry didn't do me much trouble I just looked at the databases from my Uni's electronic library http://highwire.stanford.edu/ http://cogprints.org/ the 2nd one is a database, so I don't know if you can access it... try http://www.psywww.com/index.html http://www.intute.ac.uk/socialsciences/ http://www.psycline.org/ the rest are all websites and they're all credible resources, because if they weren't my Uni wouldn't subscribe to them good luck Reply
Graeme
Unfortunately it's unlikely you'll find much for free... That's why the IAs don't ask for much research, because they know it's pretty hard. Reply
rue saint-denis
If you go to your local universities' library they should have access to databases such as PsychInfo, etc. They should also have printed journals, so go and enjoy. It's all free. Reply
ibkid
Hmmm, thanks for all the sites ~Lc~, i will definitely look into it lol, i never been inside of a university before though...do they let strangers in hahaha?? Reply
Graeme
Just pretend you're not a stranger and voila! Problem solved. Or go to a public library. They often have journals there. Reply
