robot125
hey guys, i just downloaded a bundle of AP physics papers and i saw something very peculiar. They seem to have two types, AP physics B and AP Physics C. The AP physics B seems to be the general test which covers various topics. The AP physics C on the other hand is either electricity and magnetism or mechanics. Looking into the AP physics C:mechanics paper i found that their physics has some calculus in it. One of the questions says: Write a differential equation that can be used to solve for the velocity of the skier as a function of time. So my question is, does the physics C work as an options or is it still part of their core syllabus? If it is an option doesnt that give the AP candidates an edge over the IB candidates in Engineering courses? Reply
Peanut Butter Jelly
No, AP physics B, AP physics C: E&M and AP Physics Mechanics are all seperate tests. Reply
