pennywise256
I'm about to join an association dedicated to the protection of animals, their action range is very thorough, since they dedicate to denounce animal abuse by taking legal actions, they have an asylum themselves for abandoned cats where they take care of them by feeding and sterilizing them, as well as looking for families to adopt them, they hold talks in schools about animal care, and many stuff more. Do you think this may account for cas, since it's related to animals rather than to people? I found it really difficult to serve to people because I'm some kind of "misanthropist" I cannot stand being with abandoned children, or older people. I just can't. Thank you all. aldld
If you're volunteering there, I don't see why it wouldn't. Reply
spereira14
Of course it counts, my CAS Projects is visiting an animal shelter two times a month, and a marine life protection centre once a month. People say it's not the same as bonding with people, but I'm really enjoying it and feeling a connection with the animals 1 Reply
sohanvs95
You should be a part of it. i.e you should be taking part in helping those animals. its what you do that counts for CAS, not what the organization does. Reply
HiggsHunter
This should be no problem at all. By your volunteer work you will be serving the association, not just the animals they protect. Working collaboratively with others is only one of the CAS learning outcomes, and shouldn't be too difficult if you share their concerns.
