Award Winning Boss Posted April 13, 2012 Report Share Posted April 13, 2012 The opposition usually have religious ties. They believe that marriage should only be between a man and a woman. Homosexual marriage would ruin the integrity of marriage. But i'll say that this is usually promoted by very conservative Christians in America, not to say that all religious people do this, it just seems like a bigger problem in America than other countries dominated by Christianity.
