Interesting math patterns

hey guys...i know of numbers which when one is divided or multiplied by the other yield answers with a pattern in them. For example they may yield an answer like 0.012345678910 0r 0.024681012. What are these types of answers called? Where can I learn about them?

I don't know of a generic term for interesting numbers (and neither did C.P. Snow, I believe). But if one exists it would probably include the sets of perfect numbers, amicable numbers, untouchable numbers, cyclic numbers and sociable numbers, as well as truncatable and permutable primes, etc. Of course, the "interesting number paradox" asserts that all natural numbers are interesting!
