I'm testing Psych HL and had a few questions:Are the learning outcomes in each section what we need to know for the exam? I've been annotating entire sections and it's been quite time-consuming so if all we have to know are learning outcomes it would save a lot of time.Also, how do you guys memorize the researchers' names for the studies? blindpet Posted April 19, 2012 Report Share Posted April 19, 2012 Grab the syllabus. There are general learning outcomes for each level of analysis which you need to be able to answer. There are also level specific learning outcomes which you will also need to be able to answer. The syllabus gives you the list of questions you can get on the exam. See the stickies on this forum for information about how LAQ command term questions can turn into SAQs but not the other way around.There is debate about remembering the researchers' names but generally if it's a well-known study you can sufficiently describe it without citing the researcher names but if you can remember their names then great. So should I restrict myself to only the learning outcomes, or read through/annotate the entire sections? Because for some options, like abnormal psychology, the learning outcomes ask for treatment of one disorder, even though the section has 3 disorders.
