eggchob Posted May 3, 2012 Report Share Posted May 3, 2012 After being told by our teachers for 2 years that we should use the term "HIC (highly industrialised countries)/ LIC (less industrialised countries)", rather than the usual MEDC/LEDC, I still doubt whether this is right or not since I have not yet come across a single textbook that uses the HIC/LIC terms.
